Films are expensive! 

And quality is important to us. So, we're trying to raise enough money for production, AND to make it something that will have a significant, social impact. Everything from hiring crew to renting equipment can add up real quick.

There is a long list of people we're looking to interview all over the globe, and there are several abstract, story narratives (similar to what you saw in the teaser) that we're going to mix into the film for dramatic effect.

So here is a list of some the expenses we're looking to cover.

• Travel expenses like gas money, plane tickets, room rentals and food for crew.

• Studio rental space.

• Equipment purchase and rentals like, camera gear, lenses, lights, sound recording equipment, and other miscellaneous expenses.

• Production design like wardrobe, props, make-up, and locations.

• Hired talent like actors and actresses, directors of photography, production assistants, audio experts, lighting experts, and the rest of the necessary crew for a professional production.

• the shipping costs and productions of all the tier rewards for all you backers.

• Last but not least: promotion. It may seem premature but we feel that raising a buzz about this early and keeping people engaged throughout the production process will lead to a lot more attention on this powerful message when the release date comes. We're hoping for a theatrical release for this film. The more buzz there is at release time, the more likely investors are to back this film into theaters. Or, if we raise enough money here to cover it, then the film gets into theaters by the grace of all of you instead!
